Microsoft Project macros (VBA)
...are crisp VBA macros for Microsoft Project as useful little helpers for daily routine tasks. Microsoft Project reporting tools
...generate specific reports, schedules, calendars, diagrams or other evaluations of project data directly in a defined target format such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF 100% automatically. Typical application scenarios include the generation of complex reports when the project reports are no longer sufficient. At the touch of a button, the project data is read out, filtered, evaluated and visually processed, then perhaps a PDF is created and sent by e-mail. Provided there is an appropriate data basis, there are no limits - even time-controlled generation is possible.
Microsoft Project exports
...are data exports from Microsoft Project to external data storage such as Access databases or Excel workbooks for further processing in external applications. Smaller data sets are often exported to XML or CSV files, larger data sets are typically exported to relational database servers such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). Once in the target system, the project data can be further processed or distributed to other applications in almost any way.
Microsoft Project imports
...are data imports from external data sources such as Access databases, Excel workbooks, MSSQL servers or Exchange or Outlook calendars directly into Microsoft Project, typically for the purpose of updating the project status without the effort and inevitable input errors of a manual work process.
Microsoft Project interfaces
...are connections from Microsoft Project to external applications such as Microsoft Outlook or Exchange, e.g. for the purpose of sending emails, comparing absence times or synchronizing calendars. In contrast to imports/exports (see above), the project data is exchanged bidirectionally and, depending on the scenario, compared or synchronized with each other. For this purpose, the relevant host applications such as Microsoft Project and Excel, Access or Outlook, for example, are integrated directly via COM (or similar) for interfaces so that they can "talk" to each other.
Microsoft Project continuation projects
...are aimed at transferring existing macros, add-ins or other project solutions to eWorks, typically to make their further development more cost-efficient, professional or reliable. Typical scenarios include the professionalization of previously hobbyist-developed solutions, the acceleration of further development or the compensation of personnel shortfalls. We receive the solution including source code and a brief introduction, set up a ticket system, source code management, demonstration system, etc., create the desired client accesses and off we go! A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is of course no problem. And if you want to bring the development back in-house one day, that's no problem either: only the source code is temporarily transferred to eWorks, not the rights to it. If.
Microsoft Project support ("extended workbench")
...is different from all the above projects in the sense that it is about your continuous support around Microsoft Project via e-mail and telephone by an experienced senior developer, quasi "on call". Consequently, neither a specification sheet nor a work contract is drawn up, but only a service contract as a rather loose framework agreement. Individual software for carrying out inventories(2013)
eWorks was commissioned by a company operating throughout Europe to program a software solution based on Microsoft Office in order to optimize stocktaking. From the initial idea for the software, through implementation to the actual execution of the inventory, eWorks was able to accompany the company and provide technical support. Since then, the software has been continuously expanded with new functions and optimized for international use.
Project management software for teams(2011)
A service company commissioned eWorks to develop a software product for the optimization of project management tasks. eWorks supported the company from the initial idea for the software, through prototype development and full implementation, to its current operation. Over the course of the software lifecycle, eWorks implemented various enhancements and provided support services.
Strategic personnel planning suite(2007)
For several years, eWorks has supported REVOLAsoft as a technology partner for the development and operation of a comprehensive application suite for strategic personnel planning in large companies.
