Creation of a Shopware 6 online store for Zimmer + Rohde(2021)
Zimmer + Rohde GmbH from Oberursel commissioned eWorks, a Frankfurt-based Shopware e-commerce agency, to develop a B2B store for high-quality home textiles in sophisticated designs in July 2021. Zimmer + Rohde is a modern textile publisher for luxurious covers, curtains and wallcovers and wanted to have a professional online store created to digitize sales and boost online sales. The aim was to develop an online store on the then brand-new Shopware 6 platform that could map all individual customer needs and meet high standards. As well as a second store for the subsidiary brand "ADO Goldkante" with identical functionality but an independent web design. Zimmer + Rohde approached various Shopware partners for this. eWorks, a Shopware development agency specializing in innovative e-commerce solutions, was chosen from the online store agencies approached due to its outstanding programming expertise and numerous certified Shopware developers.
Outlook programming of an XRechnung tool for the Landesbetrieb LBB(2021)
In mid-2021, Landesbetrieb LBB (Mainz) commissioned eWorks to develop a custom Outlook add-in to optimize its email workflow and the processing of e-invoices in XML data format (XRechnungen). Public authorities were already obliged to support XRechnungen at that time, which is why LBB wanted to have an intelligent Outlook add-in programmed for its team to simplify daily email traffic. To this end, LBB published a tender to find a certified Microsoft Outlook programmer, and the contract was ultimately awarded to eWorks.
Development of an Excel project management tool for VGF(2022)
Stadtwerke Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main mbH (VGF) has commissioned eWorks as Frankfurt's Excel programmer to develop a project management tool based on Microsoft Excel and VBA. VGF's 2,500 employees operate over 400 rail vehicles on 10 streetcar and 9 subway lines and are responsible for the rolling and fixed infrastructure, traffic management, cleanliness, safety, service and customer service. As a service provider, VGF transports over 200 million passengers annually. VGF wanted to have a project management tool programmed in Microsoft Excel to support project management in SAP, RIBiTWO, myParm and ZEDAS in order to plan, manage and successfully complete hundreds of projects every year: Elevator installations, platform modernizations, other construction measures and much more.
Development of a budget billing calculator(2022)
The Peine Water Association provides drinking water supply, wastewater disposal and flood protection services for 30 municipalities in south-eastern Lower Saxony and northern Hesse. eWorks was commissioned to develop an online discount calculator for the customers of the Peine Water Association.
Shopware booking portal of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg(2022)
At the beginning of 2021, Lüneburg's Leuphana University announced a funding project to program a booking portal for university study modules as part of the "Professional School Individuale" in order to simplify and promote continuing professional development. eWorks, as a web store agency, responded to this call for tenders with the concept of using existing standard eCommerce software as a technological basis and adapting it in such a way that it becomes a professional online store for university course booking. Although Leuphana University did not want to have an online store created in the narrower sense, this idea was nevertheless convincing due to the expected costs of this online store, because essential components such as product presentation and the checkout process did not have to be programmed from scratch. In the end, eWorks was awarded the contract for the implementation of this eCommerce project, which was mainly funded by grants.
Template creation with Word and VBA on behalf of FITKO(2022)
The "FITKO" (Federal IT Cooperation) of the federal and state governments based in Frankfurt am Main commissioned eWorks, a Word agency with many years of experience, to create intelligent Word templates for meetings and congresses in 2021. They were looking for Word programming that would consolidate and standardize the countless Word documents for conferences, agenda items, proposed resolutions, etc. that had been created over time in order to consolidate layout and functionality and at the same time reduce the ever-increasing amount of work involved in maintaining and creating Word templates.
Development of an Excel tool for the automatic creation of PowerPoint presentations(2020)
As a certified VBA programmer and Microsoft partner, eWorks was commissioned by the BMW Group's Lightweight Construction and Technology Center at the end of 2019 to program an Excel add-in for generating PowerPoint presentations. The objective was to provide Excel folders with a kind of mail merge function in order to be able to create several PowerPoint slides fully automatically at the push of a button according to different compositions for different target groups - simple, error-free, lightning fast.

Creation of a PowerPoint presentation template for Aramark(2020)
Aramark Holding Deutschland GmbH (Neu-Isenburg), the German head of an internationally active catering and gastronomy company with over 200,000 employees, contacted eWorks as a technical PowerPoint specialist at the beginning of 2020 to have professional PowerPoint templates developed. The objective was to create and implement a new PowerPoint slide master with around 10 different layouts in the Aramark corporate design in order to be able to create PowerPoint presentations more error-free, time-saving and cost-saving in the future.

FITKO (Federal IT Cooperation), which is supported by the federal and state governments and is based in Frankfurt am Main, commissioned eWorks, a Microsoft Office specialist with many years of experience, to create professional Word and PowerPoint templates in summer 2019. The objective was to develop Microsoft Office templates for the quick and easy creation of a wide variety of Word documents and PowerPoint presentations in the exact corporate design.
Creation of intelligent Word templates for Frankfurter Sparkasse 1822(2020)
In July 2019, Frankfurter Sparkasse, one of the largest savings banks in Germany, commissioned eWorks, a Microsoft Word specialist with many years of experience, to create professional Word templates. Specifically, Frankfurter Sparkasse wanted to have around a dozen intelligent Word templates created - for Fraspa itself, but also for its subsidiary "1822direkt". The aim was to enable Word users to create letters, minutes, notifications, etc. faster, more conveniently and with fewer errors in future - with 100% corporate design conformity.
Modernization of the Microsoft Access database for INOS plant engineering and electronics production(2018)
INOS Anlagenbau und Elektronikfertigung in Biebergemünd, Hesse, has been active in cable assembly for drive and control technology and switchgear since 1980. The company uses a Microsoft Access database with Microsoft SQL Server to manage all materials, products, deliveries, processes and stocks. Originally designed as an Access Data Project (ADP), the database could no longer be used from Microsoft Office version 2013 onwards, as this combination was no longer supported by Microsoft.
Development of a web-based, virtual laboratory for medical training(2016)
The University Hospital Frankfurt commissioned eWorks to implement an interactive learning platform for medical training in the field of laboratory diagnostics. The learning platform offers lecturers and medical students at the university web-based access to study-related learning content, which can be activated by the lecturers according to the pace of teaching.
Development of a system platform with PHP and XML(2016)
I.G.Bauerhin is one of the world's leading automotive suppliers and develops seat heating systems for various vehicle manufacturers. Among other things, I.G.Bauerhin supplies vehicle manufacturers and their system suppliers with steering wheel heaters, sensors for seat occupancy detection, components for air conditioning seats and electronic control units.
MicroElectronics Cloud Alliance MECA(2016)
The MicroElectronics Cloud Alliance - MECA for short - brings together 18 colleges, universities and small and medium-sized enterprises from a total of 9 European countries to jointly create a cloud approach for teaching, training and further education in the field of microelectronics. The aim is to create open teaching materials, provide remote access and create shared use of training and professional user software. There will also be shared access to hardware and virtual laboratory functions.
Programming an XML interface(2015)
As the point of contact for all questions relating to energy management, the building construction department of the city of Frankfurt am Main commissioned eWorks, the Frankfurt Excel programmer, to program an Excel interface in order to transfer energy certificates entered in Excel directly to the web portal of the German Institute for Building Technology DIBt (Berlin). The aim was to quickly and easily check and transfer the energy certificate data entered in Excel and to automatically obtain a unique and centrally assigned registration number.

A well-known German company in the food industry commissioned eWorks, as Microsoft Outlook specialists, to develop an Outlook add-in for the e-mail storage of suspicious messages: spam e-mails, phishing e-mails and other dangerous e-mails (viruses, worms etc.).
Programming De-Mail Outlook Add-In with C# and .NET(2015)
As part of the De-Mail program, eWorks has programmed a Microsoft Outlook plugin for 1&1 De-Mail GmbH for the integration of De-Mail in Outlook. De-Mail is a legally secure e-mail alternative for confidential communication. De-Mail enables official documents to be sent securely over the Internet.
Excel programming of an annual meeting evaluation tool(2015)
Medela AG (Baar, Switzerland) has two divisions: "Human Milk", with globally recognized basic research and a leader in the development and manufacture of breastfeeding products and complete solutions, and "Healthcare", specializing in the development and manufacture of high-quality medical vacuum technology solutions. The company, which has been in business for over 50 years, conducts employee appraisals every six months, the results of which are recorded in Excel workbooks in German or English. eWorks also developed a customized Excel solution that reads these Excel workbooks and automatically compiles them into clear reports. Medela wanted to have Excel macros created in order to be able to evaluate annual meetings in an automated, error-free and time-saving manner.

The international construction services provider Lindner Group KG (Arnstorf) commissioned eWorks, a Microsoft Word specialist for the professional creation of Word templates, to develop customized Word templates for minutes and contracts. Lindner wanted to have intelligent Word templates created that automatically configure relevant document parts, thus minimizing the document volume and significantly speeding up the creation of Word documents overall.

The Münster-based design and communications agency KopfKunst commissioned eWorks, a Microsoft Word specialist, to create Word templates for a public law institution. The objective was to develop "intelligent" Word templates for the quick and easy creation of Word documents in the client's corporate design.

Newsletter programming for Triumph(2015)
As a professional Microsoft Word specialist, eWorks was commissioned to develop two Word templates from existing Indesign templates so that Triumph's internal newsletters, the multi-page "Newswire" and the one-page "Hot Wire" could be created more quickly and easily.
Excel programming for process automation(2013)
The Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) commissioned eWorks with the Excel programming of an Office process automation system. The objective was to generate Microsoft Word documents fully automatically and then send them by email using Outlook 2013 based on an Excel recipient list.
PowerPoint programming of an Office add-in(2013)
The provider of technical building equipment "Caverion Deutschland GmbH" (Munich) commissioned eWorks with the VBA programming of a Microsoft PowerPoint add-in. The objective was the simple and automated switching between different slide layouts of the title slides for printing and presentation purposes.
Programming Word mail merge(2013)
On behalf of the globally active manufacturer of safety switching systems, K.A. Schmersal GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, eWorks developed a Microsoft Word document template to extend the Word mail merge functionality.
Word template programming for Wessinger GmbH(2013)
The advertising agency LEPETITMAX oHG (Frankfurt am Main) commissioned eWorks to program Word document templates for the renowned Wessinger Hotel (Wessinger GmbH, Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt). The objective was to create Word document templates with which information cards for the restaurant and hotel area can be created as quickly and easily as possible - while ensuring a professional, uniform appearance.
VBA programming of an Access mail merge(2013)
Essen-based IT service provider InfoTech by DCS commissioned eWorks with the further development of a Microsoft Access order database on behalf of a customer. The objective was to provide customers with fully automated information about real estate properties via personalized Microsoft Word serial letters and Outlook mailings, including PDF file attachments on request.
Programming multilingual Microsoft Word templates(2013)
The Max Rubner Institute, Federal Research Institute for Nutrition and Food, commissioned eWorks to develop 10 Microsoft Word templates for different business cases on the basis of a design template. The new Word templates were to be characterized by ease of use, CI-compliant format templates and intelligent additional functions. The aim was to improve the implementation of the corporate identity (CI) while at the same time reducing process costs for writing letters, faxes, memos, text messages and other Office documents. In addition, a Microsoft PowerPoint template was to be created to facilitate the creation of door signs.

The "Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V." (ZVEI), based in Frankfurt am Main, commissioned eWorks to develop various Microsoft Word templates and a PowerPoint template for different business processes on the basis of a design template. The MS Office templates to be created were to be characterized by ease of use, corporate design conformity and useful additional functions. The aim was to update the layout of letters, notes, minutes and other Microsoft Office documents following a relaunch of the corporate design (CD). At the same time, the aim was to reduce process costs when creating Word documents.
Quality assurance of a Microsoft Outlook Add-In(2013)
PROSTEP AG is the recognized PLM specialist in the field of product data integration. The company offers customers from the aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering industries the integration of CAD, PDM and supplier communication. The PROSTEP Group currently employs more than 250 people in Germany, France and the USA. PROSTEP AG develops and operates a data exchange platform for the secure transmission of large volumes of data via e-mail & WWW: OpenDXM GlobalX. To improve desktop integration, an additional Outlook add-in was programmed that merges OpenDXM GlobalX with Outlook. eWorks was commissioned to support the quality assurance of this Microsoft Outlook add-in with automated GUI tests.

The "German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ" (Potsdam) has commissioned eWorks to program a Microsoft Access database for recording geological samples.
Development of a Microsoft Office confidentiality rating(2013)
eWorks supported the agency for strategic communication "c-scope" (Munich) in programming Microsoft Word document templates and PowerPoint presentation templates for "Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG". The objective was to extend the Office templates designed by c-scope to include the storage of confidentiality levels (e.g. "Secret").
Development of Word template with Outlook connection(2013)
The hospitality service provider "Arena One GmbH" (Munich) commissioned eWorks to develop a Microsoft Word document template to support its correspondence. The objective was to comply with the corporate design (CD) while at the same time saving process costs in document creation.
Individual software for carrying out inventories(2013)
eWorks was commissioned by a company operating throughout Europe to program a software solution based on Microsoft Office in order to optimize stocktaking. From the initial idea for the software, through implementation to the actual execution of the inventory, eWorks was able to accompany the company and provide technical support. Since then, the software has been continuously expanded with new functions and optimized for international use.
Excel programming of a commission calculator(2012)
The consulting company for personnel management in engineering ORSON Consulting GbR (Stuttgart) commissioned eWorks to develop an Excel commission calculator for calculating turnover-based employee commissions. The aim was to be able to carry out regular commission calculations for certain employees and time periods more quickly and accurately in the future.
Development of geodata visualizer for BOARD Deutschland GmbH(2012)
BOARD International, headquartered in Lugano, is the manufacturer of the user-friendly BOARD toolkit for the completely programming-free creation of business intelligence and performance management applications (e.g. analysis, planning, reporting, simulation) in a single environment. BOARD already provides over 2,500 companies with a precise view of their data at a fraction of the cost and time of traditional solutions. The German sales subsidiary BOARD Deutschland GmbH has commissioned eWorks to develop an individual software solution for the web-based visualization of geographical data: the geodata visualizer (BOARD Maps).
Programming and technical support of a multi-client capable portal software for utility companies(2012)
The Schwerin-based energy service provider e.dat GmbH offers its clients and their customers a wide range of services in the electricity and gas sector (e.dat itself is a company of the WEMAG Group). A portal concept was developed to improve customer service and the associated customer self-service, allowing end customers to communicate directly, efficiently and cost-effectively with e.dat.

The fitness and sporting goods manufacturer Hypervital GmbH (Waltenhofen) produces health and lifestyle products with ergonomic and medical aspects in mind, and has commissioned eWorks to develop a B2C product finder for bicycle saddles, the "Saddle Advisor".

A global service provider for "full-service interior fit-out", which offers its customers a wide range of interior fit-out and associated logistics services, commissioned eWorks to develop a software solution to support internal business processes. The objective was to program tailor-made individual software for the client's team that supports process handling, simplifies communication, reduces process errors and increases process efficiency.

The janitor service Michael Schenk (Meckenheim) commissioned eWorks to develop a compact but productivity-enhancing Microsoft Outlook extension: the "SchenkOutlookTools". The objective was to support the office staff with an unobtrusive Outlook add-in for the fast and error-free saving of emails, which integrates seamlessly into Microsoft Outlook 2010, reduces processing time and makes operating errors less likely - in short: optimizes the process efficiency of an everyday routine procedure.
