Digital relaunch for the State Chamber of Pharmacists of Hesse with TYPO3 LTS 12.4(2025)

In 2024, eWorks was commissioned by the State Chamber of Pharmacists of Hesse (Frankfurt am Main) to completely relaunch its website at www.apothekerkammer.de. As a public corporation, the chamber is a central point of contact for over 6,000 pharmacists in Hesse - the requirements for functionality, reliability and user-friendliness were correspondingly high. As an experienced TYPO3 developer, eWorks was responsible for both the graphic design and the technical implementation with the TYPO3 LTS 12.4 content management system.

eWorks LunchEngine: Smart solution for digital lunch ordering in the office(2025)

To make daily office food ordering processes more efficient, the eWorks team has developed LunchEngine: an innovative web application for easy organization and coordination of food orders in the office. In the past, orders were often laboriously coordinated via chat - LunchEngine simplifies this process considerably by providing a central platform for managing team orders and structuring and accelerating the ordering process within the company.

Development and programming of a supplier database(2025)

Kloepfel Consulting GmbH commissioned eWorks 2021 with the planning and development of a
supplier database. The application should help to digitize the recording and cataloguing of suppliers
and manufacturing partners for Kloepfel Consulting GmbH and to efficiently design
- with the aim of quickly and specifically finding suitable manufacturing partners based on technical
and economic criteria.

Excel programming REWE recruiting database(2025)

REWE Markt GmbH commissioned eWorks, the Frankfurt-based Excel specialist, to develop an Excel tool for the HR department in July 2022. REWE wanted to have a reporting tool programmed in Excel that would fully automate the monthly recording, evaluation and visualization of application and recruitment figures.

Website relaunch Bistag.net with PHP(2025)

In 2024, Bistag (Bilanz und Steuer AG) from Frankfurt am Main commissioned eWorks with the complete relaunch of their firm's website www.bistag.net. The Frankfurt-based tax consultancy firm stands for expertise, trust and modern tax advice - values that should also be brought to life in the new website. The aim of the project was to combine a fresh, contemporary design with solid, high-performance technology - as a digital business card and as an information platform for clients and applicants.

Development of a contract management system(2025)

Who hasn't experienced this? Contracts are collected on the network drive, but there is no easily searchable overview. Reminders of notice periods are not automated and whether a contract is currently active, has been terminated or extended often requires time-consuming research. It was precisely from this situation that eWorks came up with the idea of creating a central, clear and user-friendly solution for digital contract management - based directly on the existing Microsoft 365 platform.

Excel VBA programming for the Goethe University Frankfurt(2025)

After an intensive search, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main commissioned eWorks as a certified Excel specialist and Microsoft partner in December 2018 to develop a tailor-made Excel VBA solution to optimize the tendering process for cleaning services. The company was looking for a qualified Excel service provider who could implement both the technical and visual requirements for the tender documents. The contract was awarded by the Real Estate Management division, which is responsible for facility management at all four university campuses: Westend, Riedberg, Bockenheim and Ginnheim. The regional proximity was not only practical for personal meetings, but also for the direct line to the university: eWorks employs numerous alumni of Goethe University - even the two founders and managing directors once studied computer science there. Home game! In order to get started right away, a flexible support contract was concluded so that eWorks could program, expand and optimize Excel macros on demand as an "extended workbench". Since then, more than a hundred tickets have been successfully processed and several person-months of development work have been invested.

Word templates and VBA add-in for Georg Reisch GmbH & Co. KG(2025)

Georg Reisch GmbH & Co KG (Bad Saulgau) implements construction projects on a large scale - and also relies on efficient and smooth processes in administration. In the past, document creation and the CRM connection were sometimes time-consuming and not very flexible. For this reason, eWorks from Frankfurt am Main - specializing in Word and VBA - was commissioned to develop an individually tailored Word add-in.

Online store support www.zoobedarf-hitzegrad.de with OXID eShop(2025)

In March 2021, "Hitzegrad® - Ihr BARF-Experte" (Krefeld) commissioned eWorks as a long-standing OXID partner with the long-term technical support of the online store www.zoobedarf-hitzegrad.de based on OXID eShop and three WordPress blogs. Since 2008, Zoobedarf-Hitzegrad has stood for high-quality BARF products, sustainable production, species-appropriate animal nutrition, short transport routes, top quality and close customer loyalty - an approach that was recognized with the "Entrepreneur of the Future" award. eWorks stood out among the various OXID agencies due to its many years of existence since 1998, its traditional technology neutrality and its strong programming affinity. The aim of the project was to continuously optimize the existing online store, program new functions and develop them further in the long term.

Development of an online registration page for the national mathematics competition(2024)

Bildung und Begabung gemeinnützige GmbH commissioned eWorks 2023 to program a registration page for the national mathematics competition. The aim of the project was to digitize the previously handwritten registration forms.

Development of a public web database for citizens' petitions with interactive map & filter options(2024)

In 2018, the University of Wuppertal commissioned eWorks to design and develop a web database for citizens' petitions in German-speaking countries. The aim was to develop a modern online database that is available to the public online and also offers a large number of users the opportunity to actively participate in maintaining the data.

New web design for MOTEC(2023)

Further development and support of an OXID eShop(2023)

The Krusche Outdoor & Workwear Shop has commissioned eWorks with the maintenance, support and further development of its OXID eShop www.krusche-outdoor.de.

Template creation for Word, PowerPoint, Writer, Impress and LaTeX for a university in Munich(2023)

In 2015, a large Munich university faced a challenge: a new, modern corporate design - but the document templates? Outdated, inconsistent, cumbersome. Together with ediundsepp Gestaltungsgesellschaft mbH, the university set out to find a solution. The choice fell on eWorks - Microsoft partner and specialist for customized Office templates. The university behind the order wanted to have professional Word templates created, but also PowerPoint templates, OpenOffice and LibreOffice templates and even LaTeX templates - a rare combination and therefore a challenge for the Microsoft Word specialist eWorks. Objective: Standardized templates that simply work! No more wild formatting, no eternal search for the right template - just a well thought-out system that complies with corporate design guidelines and makes working with documents easier, faster and more professional. Another particular challenge was to take into account the different ideas of the individual faculties with regard to layout, structure and content, while at the same time being able to maintain and service the wealth of templates for the various applications in a cost-efficient manner. eWorks impressed with its clever, cost-efficient concept, its many years of Microsoft Office expertise and its experience as a VBA service provider - and was ultimately awarded the contract to program a corresponding template system.

Development of a web application for eValuero GmbH with .NET / C# / Angular(2022)

eValuero GmbH commissioned eWorks at the end of 2022 to develop a single-page web application based on Angular, Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server. The aim was to create a platform for recording and processing insurance-related tasks, such as claims settlement.

Web presence for attorney Nemzov(2022)

The established lawyer Nemzov from Wiesbaden presents itself with a modern website. It was given a new, industry-typical design and was implemented using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery.

Online store support and development www.trendversand-24.de(2022)

In 2021, Trendversand-24 commissioned eWorks, a long-standing Shopware and OXID agency from Frankfurt, to migrate an existing ePages store at 1&1 and IONOS to OXID eShop. The objective was to transfer the existing business model into a modern but self-sufficient web store directly from the OXID partner without dependence on an online store provider and without monthly license costs.

Development and technical support of an individual ERP system(2022)

Kaufmann GmbH commissioned eWorks 2022 to develop an ERP system tailored to the needs of a service company. The aim of the software solution to be developed was to digitally map existing processes in the company, thereby enabling them to be carried out more efficiently.

Shopware booking portal of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg(2022)

At the beginning of 2021, Lüneburg's Leuphana University announced a funding project to program a booking portal for university study modules as part of the "Professional School Individuale" in order to simplify and promote continuing professional development. eWorks, as a web store agency, responded to this call for tenders with the concept of using existing standard eCommerce software as a technological basis and adapting it in such a way that it becomes a professional online store for university course booking. Although Leuphana University did not want to have an online store created in the narrower sense, this idea was nevertheless convincing due to the expected costs of this online store, because essential components such as product presentation and the checkout process did not have to be programmed from scratch. In the end, eWorks was awarded the contract for the implementation of this eCommerce project, which was mainly funded by grants.

Development and programming of the website relaunch for SE Tylose(2021)

On behalf of and together with our partner VIST (Very Interactive Sales Tools GmbH), we developed and combined the multilingual web presence of Shin-Etsu Pharma & Food Materials Distribution (SE PFMD) and SE Tylose - one of the most important cellulose ether suppliers worldwide - with eWorks responsible for the technical development and VIST for the concept and design. The website is based on the open source content management system TYPO3 in Long Term Support Version 9.5.

Online store creation www.verkaufsstore-wilhelmshaven.de(2021)

On behalf of Verkaufsstore-Wilhelmshaven, eWorks developed the online store www.verkaufsstore-wilhelmshaven.de based on the latest OXID eShop 6 generation. The objective was to shut down the existing eBay and Amazon store at short notice and replace it with an independent, individually created web store.

Optimization of data processing for the organ donation information hotline(2021)

The Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) is a German higher federal authority for strengthening the health literacy of the population and promoting health promotion and prevention. It develops and coordinates various programs and campaigns on topics such as addiction prevention, nutrition, exercise and mental health, as well as information materials and advisory services for different target groups.

Migration of accounting data for balance sheet and tax AG(2021)

Bilanz und Steuer AG has been supporting national and international companies of all legal forms for around 40 years. The range of services includes tax consulting, auditing, accounting, management consulting and business consulting. In addition, foreign clients are advised on their activities in Germany.

Development of a web application for recording, periodic data collection and reporting of language courses(2021)

On behalf of the Hessian Center for Everyday Language Support (HeZaS) operated by TU Darmstadt, eWorks 2021 took on the development of a web application. The aim was to create an easy-to-use web portal in which language course providers can digitally report the implementation of language courses to the coordination office and maintain statistically relevant participant data on a quarterly basis. Comprehensive statistics were also to be generated from the data collected in this way and made available to the Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs (HMSI) in the form of downloadable reports.

Word template creation for STAR COOPERATION(2020)

STAR COOPERATION GmbH (Böblingen), a globally active project planning and consulting company for automotive and other projects, commissioned eWorks as a Frankfurt Word specialist in 2018 to create Word templates for letters and other Word documents.

Creation of a PowerPoint presentation template for Aramark(2020)

Aramark Holding Deutschland GmbH (Neu-Isenburg), the German head of an internationally active catering and gastronomy company with over 200,000 employees, contacted eWorks as a technical PowerPoint specialist at the beginning of 2020 to have professional PowerPoint templates developed. The objective was to create and implement a new PowerPoint slide master with around 10 different layouts in the Aramark corporate design in order to be able to create PowerPoint presentations more error-free, time-saving and cost-saving in the future.

Taxpayers' Association Online Shop(2020)

The service company of the German Taxpayers Association, "BdSt Steuerzahler Service GmbH", has commissioned eWorks to plan and develop the BdSt Onlineshop Internet store.

Creation of Office templates for FITKO (Federal IT Cooperation)(2020)

FITKO (Federal IT Cooperation), which is supported by the federal and state governments and is based in Frankfurt am Main, commissioned eWorks, a Microsoft Office specialist with many years of experience, to create professional Word and PowerPoint templates in summer 2019. The objective was to develop Microsoft Office templates for the quick and easy creation of a wide variety of Word documents and PowerPoint presentations in the exact corporate design.

SharePoint process management in the automotive marketing sector(2020)

Under considerable time pressure, a ready-to-use SharePoint database was developed within just 12 working days, which was originally intended as an interim solution, but was used productively over a period of three months due to its good practical suitability. During this time, over 20,000 processes were successfully processed.

Modernization of the Microsoft Access database for INOS plant engineering and electronics production(2018)

INOS Anlagenbau und Elektronikfertigung in Biebergemünd, Hesse, has been active in cable assembly for drive and control technology and switchgear since 1980. The company uses a Microsoft Access database with Microsoft SQL Server to manage all materials, products, deliveries, processes and stocks. Originally designed as an Access Data Project (ADP), the database could no longer be used from Microsoft Office version 2013 onwards, as this combination was no longer supported by Microsoft.

BRUHN Elektro-Hausgeräte Shop with Shopware 6(2017)

Bruhn-Elektro-Hausgeräte Handelsgesellschaft mbH was founded in Weinstadt in 1979 and has developed into a leading specialist electrical retailer in the Stuttgart region. At a total of 4 locations, Elektro Bruhn offers a wide range of household electronics from well-known brands such as Siemens and Bosch. In addition to its brick-and-mortar stores, Elektro Bruhn also successfully sells its product range via a modern online store based on the advanced Shopware platform. In 2017, Elektro Bruhn was planning significant store expansions and was looking for an experienced Shopware service provider for the necessary Shopware programming. The choice fell on eWorks as a Shopware partner to take over the support and further development of the store in version 5.

TYPO3 migration, website programming and redesign for firesys(2016)

For 25 years, firesys has been supporting more than 100 companies in the creation of automated financial reports in their own corporate design based on Microsoft Word and Excel, including in-house printing.

Creation of online learning videos for the RevierKraft customer portal(2016)

In cooperation with e.dat GmbH, several educational videos were produced for the RevierKraft website and the RevierKraft customer portal. RevierKraft is an energy service provider and subsidiary of the energy supplier Energieversorgung Oberhausen AG (evo).

OXID online store development from www.bettymarcus.com(2016)

WohnSinn oHG, a store for gifts and home accessories in Mainz-Bretzenheim, expanded its product range in 2015 to include the self-founded label "Betty & Marcus". In order to be able to present the new brand more nationally and internationally in the future, eWorks was commissioned as a Hessian OXID agency to create an online store for the complete Betty & Marcus range. WohnSinn wanted to have a web store created in order to open a second eCommerce sales channel in addition to the retail store sales and to be able to realize real multi-channel sales.

MicroElectronics Cloud Alliance MECA(2016)

The MicroElectronics Cloud Alliance - MECA for short - brings together 18 colleges, universities and small and medium-sized enterprises from a total of 9 European countries to jointly create a cloud approach for teaching, training and further education in the field of microelectronics. The aim is to create open teaching materials, provide remote access and create shared use of training and professional user software. There will also be shared access to hardware and virtual laboratory functions.

Oulook add-in programming with Microsoft .NET(2015)

A well-known German company in the food industry commissioned eWorks, as Microsoft Outlook specialists, to develop an Outlook add-in for the e-mail storage of suspicious messages: spam e-mails, phishing e-mails and other dangerous e-mails (viruses, worms etc.).

Beloved home migration from xt:Commerce to OXID eShop(2015)

Geliebtes Zuhause GmbH (Gründau / Lieblos) is the operator of www.geliebtes-zuhause.de, a leading and fast-growing online store for "Lovely Home Fashion, Design and Living" with a focus on Nordic countries. As part of a technical OXID store update in combination with a redesign of the store design, eWorks, as an OXID partner of the first hour from nearby Frankfurt, was commissioned with a data migration from the existing xt:Commerce store to the new OXID eShop Enterprise Edition (OXID EE). In this way, all existing customers were to be able to continue to log in and shop in the new OXID store using their access data.

Further development of a business intelligence database for Repucom(2015)

Repucom provides comprehensive consulting services in the sports and entertainment business and supports its customers in maximizing their economic success. The globally active market research and consulting company in the sports and entertainment business, based in Cologne, has commissioned eWorks to technically and visually optimize an already developed, individual business intelligence database and to expand it to include several new areas.

Excel programming of an annual meeting evaluation tool(2015)

Medela AG (Baar, Switzerland) has two divisions: "Human Milk", with globally recognized basic research and a leader in the development and manufacture of breastfeeding products and complete solutions, and "Healthcare", specializing in the development and manufacture of high-quality medical vacuum technology solutions. The company, which has been in business for over 50 years, conducts employee appraisals every six months, the results of which are recorded in Excel workbooks in German or English. eWorks also developed a customized Excel solution that reads these Excel workbooks and automatically compiles them into clear reports. Medela wanted to have Excel macros created in order to be able to evaluate annual meetings in an automated, error-free and time-saving manner.

Modernization of a management reporting/controlling application(2015)

The Steigenberger Hotel Group is a globally active hotel company with more than 90 hotels, which also has to solve challenging problems in the field of information technology.

Creation of professional PowerPoint templates(2015)

REHAU AG + Co (Rehau), a leading system and service provider of polymer-based solutions, has commissioned eWorks, a technical PowerPoint specialist, to develop a convenient, professional PowerPoint presentation template.

OXID store redesign for BdSt Steuerzahler Service GmbH(2015)

In 2015, BdSt Steuerzahler Service GmbH from Wiesbaden in Hesse commissioned eWorks, a long-standing certified OXID partner from neighboring Frankfurt, to redesign and technically update the aging Bund-der-Steuerzahler store. The Bund-der-Steuerzahler store was last relaunched at the beginning of 2011. However, 4 years later, the ravages of time were once again gnawing away at its (once modern) web design, which is why the look and feel of this online store needed to be optimized once again.

Creation of Word templates for minutes and contracts(2015)

The international construction services provider Lindner Group KG (Arnstorf) commissioned eWorks, a Microsoft Word specialist for the professional creation of Word templates, to develop customized Word templates for minutes and contracts. Lindner wanted to have intelligent Word templates created that automatically configure relevant document parts, thus minimizing the document volume and significantly speeding up the creation of Word documents overall.

Creation of Word templates in corporate design(2015)

The Münster-based design and communications agency KopfKunst commissioned eWorks, a Microsoft Word specialist, to create Word templates for a public law institution. The objective was to develop "intelligent" Word templates for the quick and easy creation of Word documents in the client's corporate design.

Word template programming with Word 2007 and VBA(2015)

On behalf of the communication agency "KopfKunst" (Münster), eWorks, as a service provider for the creation of Word templates, has optimized various Word templates of a well-known full-service IT service provider on the basis of the designs created by Kopfkunst. In addition to a functional template extension, the aim of the revision was above all to ensure the fast and convenient usability of all Word templates for creating Word documents without the risk of any operating errors.

Excel tool for managing clinical codes(2015)

For ifa systems AG, a company specializing in software solutions for professional ophthalmology, eWorks GmbH has developed a tool for managing clinical codes based on an Excel workbook.

Newsletter programming for Triumph(2015)

As a professional Microsoft Word specialist, eWorks was commissioned to develop two Word templates from existing Indesign templates so that Triumph's internal newsletters, the multi-page "Newswire" and the one-page "Hot Wire" could be created more quickly and easily.

Excel programming for process automation(2013)

The Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) commissioned eWorks with the Excel programming of an Office process automation system. The objective was to generate Microsoft Word documents fully automatically and then send them by email using Outlook 2013 based on an Excel recipient list.

PowerPoint programming of an Office add-in(2013)

The provider of technical building equipment "Caverion Deutschland GmbH" (Munich) commissioned eWorks with the VBA programming of a Microsoft PowerPoint add-in. The objective was the simple and automated switching between different slide layouts of the title slides for printing and presentation purposes.

Programming Word mail merge(2013)

On behalf of the globally active manufacturer of safety switching systems, K.A. Schmersal GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, eWorks developed a Microsoft Word document template to extend the Word mail merge functionality.

OXID programming of an online store connection(2013)

eWorks was commissioned by the Service-Gesellschaft des Bundes der Steuerzahler (BdSt Steuerzahler Service GmbH) to develop an automatic article import for the BdSt store www.steuerzahler-service.de.

Word template programming for Wessinger GmbH(2013)

The advertising agency LEPETITMAX oHG (Frankfurt am Main) commissioned eWorks to program Word document templates for the renowned Wessinger Hotel (Wessinger GmbH, Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt). The objective was to create Word document templates with which information cards for the restaurant and hotel area can be created as quickly and easily as possible - while ensuring a professional, uniform appearance.

VBA programming of an Access mail merge(2013)

Essen-based IT service provider InfoTech by DCS commissioned eWorks with the further development of a Microsoft Access order database on behalf of a customer. The objective was to provide customers with fully automated information about real estate properties via personalized Microsoft Word serial letters and Outlook mailings, including PDF file attachments on request.

Programming multilingual Microsoft Word templates(2013)

The Max Rubner Institute, Federal Research Institute for Nutrition and Food, commissioned eWorks to develop 10 Microsoft Word templates for different business cases on the basis of a design template. The new Word templates were to be characterized by ease of use, CI-compliant format templates and intelligent additional functions. The aim was to improve the implementation of the corporate identity (CI) while at the same time reducing process costs for writing letters, faxes, memos, text messages and other Office documents. In addition, a Microsoft PowerPoint template was to be created to facilitate the creation of door signs.

Development of Word templates for business correspondence(2013)

The "Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V." (ZVEI), based in Frankfurt am Main, commissioned eWorks to develop various Microsoft Word templates and a PowerPoint template for different business processes on the basis of a design template. The MS Office templates to be created were to be characterized by ease of use, corporate design conformity and useful additional functions. The aim was to update the layout of letters, notes, minutes and other Microsoft Office documents following a relaunch of the corporate design (CD). At the same time, the aim was to reduce process costs when creating Word documents.

Quality assurance of a Microsoft Outlook Add-In(2013)

PROSTEP AG is the recognized PLM specialist in the field of product data integration. The company offers customers from the aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering industries the integration of CAD, PDM and supplier communication. The PROSTEP Group currently employs more than 250 people in Germany, France and the USA. PROSTEP AG develops and operates a data exchange platform for the secure transmission of large volumes of data via e-mail & WWW: OpenDXM GlobalX. To improve desktop integration, an additional Outlook add-in was programmed that merges OpenDXM GlobalX with Outlook. eWorks was commissioned to support the quality assurance of this Microsoft Outlook add-in with automated GUI tests.

Microsoft Access programming of a geo-database(2013)

The "German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ" (Potsdam) has commissioned eWorks to program a Microsoft Access database for recording geological samples.

OXID programming of the myMöbel online store with furniture configurator(2013)

The "myMöbel GbR" (Wadersloh) commissioned eWorks as a certified OXID partner with the technical conception and development of an OXID eShop-based online store for high-quality solid wood furniture: www.myMöbel.de. The highlight was the development of a furniture configurator that was not only able to customize all pieces of furniture to the wishes of the store customers, but was also able to calculate reliable yet attractive prices.

myMöbel was nominated for the "Golden Cart Award 2014" in the "Innovative Business Model" category.

Development of a Microsoft Office confidentiality rating(2013)

eWorks supported the agency for strategic communication "c-scope" (Munich) in programming Microsoft Word document templates and PowerPoint presentation templates for "Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG". The objective was to extend the Office templates designed by c-scope to include the storage of confidentiality levels (e.g. "Secret").

Development of Word template with Outlook connection(2013)

The hospitality service provider "Arena One GmbH" (Munich) commissioned eWorks to develop a Microsoft Word document template to support its correspondence. The objective was to comply with the corporate design (CD) while at the same time saving process costs in document creation.

OXID programming of the Econanda online store(2013)

eWorks was commissioned with the conception, design and implementation of the online store www.econanda.de. Particular attention was paid to ease of use and outstanding usability.

Individual software for carrying out inventories(2013)

eWorks was commissioned by a company operating throughout Europe to program a software solution based on Microsoft Office in order to optimize stocktaking. From the initial idea for the software, through implementation to the actual execution of the inventory, eWorks was able to accompany the company and provide technical support. Since then, the software has been continuously expanded with new functions and optimized for international use.

Excel programming of a commission calculator(2012)

The consulting company for personnel management in engineering ORSON Consulting GbR (Stuttgart) commissioned eWorks to develop an Excel commission calculator for calculating turnover-based employee commissions. The aim was to be able to carry out regular commission calculations for certain employees and time periods more quickly and accurately in the future.
