The 2nd online video library based on OVIDEO technology!

On behalf of OVIDEO Entertainment GmbH, eWorks has realized the VN-Kinothek - the 2nd online video library for DVD rentals based on OVIDEO's proven technology.

The VN-Kinothek was developed in March 2006 and went online just in time for the start of the Dornbirn Spring Fair on April 6, 2006.

Since October 2003, OVIDEO has been awarded good and very good marks by 8 trade journals. Vorarlberger Medienhaus Gmbh has therefore found an ideal partner in the OVIDEO service team and the proven OVIDEO technology for setting up its own online video library.

eWorks developed the OVIDEO website and the back-office IT systems behind the scenes into a white-label product for online video stores. This did not affect ongoing operations in any way.

The technical implementation was carried out using the PortalEngine content management system, which enables the operator to quickly and easily add new DVDs and edit existing content (DVDs, frequently asked questions, press releases, etc.) without any technical knowledge. For details see OVIDEO.

The tried-and-tested PortalEngine caching ensures that VN-Kinothek.at remains accessible even at peak times, e.g. during the trade fair launch, and offers the fastest possible response times.

eWorks manages the internet presence and IT systems of VN-Kinothek.at and OVIDEO.de, carries out further development in close contact with the operators and is responsible for technical support.
