Windows Instant Messenger for a consultant portal

isee newmedia gmbH (Frankfurt) has commissioned eWorks to carry out the technical realization of the "Vistano Messenger" software.

"Vistano Messenger" is a chat application for MS Windows for communication between visitors to the www.vistano.com website via instant messaging.

The "Vistano Messenger" contains some technical refinements such as an automatic update check and billing functionalities.

The development was carried out on the basis of MS Visual C++ in order to achieve a compact download size and maximum compatibility even with older system configurations. The installation procedure was realized on the basis of InstallShield and Windows Installer.

The Vistano Messenger was developed in September 2006, entered the beta phase in October and went online as planned on October 26, 2006.
