Rebuilding a virtual specialist store with OXID eShop

Trolle und Wolle is an established store for crafting wool and accessories. Owner Bettina Popien commissioned eWorks to redesign the online store and migrate from osCommerce to a new, more modern store software.

eWorks created a graphic design and implemented it in close consultation with the client. The new store was implemented on the basis of the standard software OXID eShop Community Edition 4. In addition to general color and design, the design also includes layout changes to the product presentation and the presentation of the various store categories. A modern design that appeals to the target group was important. In addition, a gallery was integrated into the store as a separate component to show customers the possibilities that can be created with the items on offer and thus offer obvious incentives to buy. At the beginning of September 2009, the store went online with the new domain name filzwolleshop.de.
