Support and further development of an xt:Commerce online store

Ongoing support and advice for a webshop operator in the retail sector

SantaFeTex GmbH (Wachenheim) has commissioned eWorks with the maintenance and further development of its xt:Commerce store system www.santafetex.com.

eWorks supports the store operator, a B2B ("business-to-business") textile retailer, both in the implementation of daily routine tasks in the online store and in the continuous further development and modernization of the textile store. To date, eWorks has carried out the following web store enhancements, among others:

Design refresh of the online store www.santafetex.com by visually redesigning all pages ("redesign") and introducing a JavaScript-based "photo slider" on the store homepage.

Visual modernization and functional expansion of the XTC article detail page for ordering article variants via colour selection, size table and graduated price discounts with automatic price updating, stock display and availability control.

Search engine optimization for "Google", "Bing", and other search engines through various "SEO measures" to increase search engine attractiveness, such as the installation of "landing pages" and the publication of "SEO content".

Improvement of the inquiry process for individual product orders ("customer-specific mass production" or "mass customization") of textile articles, e.g. for the finishing of shirts by printing or embroidering collars that conform to the CD ("corporate design").

The store operator reports all kinds of tasks to eWorks as a support ticket: by telephone, by e-mail or by means of a "ticket system" or "bug tracker". eWorks puts the customer's wishes into practice. In addition, eWorks is regularly available to its client for technical consultations ("consulting") in order to plan the strategic further development of the web store - and also contributes its own eCommerce experience from B2B and BC2, which has been gathered over many years.
