Sendito (DSL Info Center)

eWorks carried out the technical implementation of the "Sendito" software on behalf of i12 AG (Wetzlar). Sendito is a desktop information tool that can be flexibly adapted to different customer designs and its range of functions can be varied.

Sendito is currently available as "DSL Infocenter".
Sendito offers an RSS newsreader, an e-mail client (POP3 + IMAP) with support for SSL and proxies as well as freely definable HTML content for the content of the respective Sendito licensee.

The activities carried out included the detailed technical conception and development of Sendito. Furthermore, eWorks advised i12 AG on the creation of the Windows help system and supported the development of the SETUP and the realization of automatic updates.

Sendito was developed with the help of MS Visual C++ 7.0. MS Internet Explorer and WMI / WBEM were used for various functions via COM. For security and cryptography, services from openSSL and the Windows Crypto-API were used.

eWorks provided i12 AG with continuous support over a period of 6 months during planning, development and testing and accompanied the project until it went live.
