Optimization of data processing for the organ donation information hotline
Development and technical maintenance of a web-based database for the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA)
The Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) is a German higher federal authority for strengthening the health literacy of the population and promoting health promotion and prevention. It develops and coordinates various programs and campaigns on topics such as addiction prevention, nutrition, exercise and mental health, as well as information materials and advisory services for different target groups.
eWorks has developed a web-based database for the BZgA's organ donation hotline and maintains it continuously to ensure smooth operation. The database is used to record and store statistical parameters for the data analysis of the Organ Donation Information Line. This statistical data is used to optimize the Infotelephone's services.
The BZgA's Organ Donation Helpline is a central point of contact for citizens who have questions about organ and tissue donation. It offers free telephone advice and information on various aspects of organ and tissue donation.
eWorks was responsible for the technical implementation of the project. Services included requirements analysis, implementation, quality assurance and deployment. An interface to the BZgA store was also programmed, via which address data and ordered materials can be seamlessly transferred. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and backend programming with TYPO3, PHP and MySQL were used to make the database user-friendly and efficient.
Ongoing support for the project includes regular maintenance, the installation of updates and the rapid rectification of technical faults. As a reliable partner, eWorks supports the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) to ensure that the web-based database always meets high quality and performance standards.
