B2C store programming based on an OXID eShop Community Edition from OXID eSales AG

In 2021, Trendversand-24 commissioned eWorks, a long-standing Shopware and OXID agency from Frankfurt, to migrate an existing ePages store at 1&1 and IONOS to OXID eShop. The objective was to transfer the existing business model into a modern but self-sufficient web store directly from the OXID partner without dependence on an online store provider and without monthly license costs.

eWorks supported its client throughout the entire store project, from the initial, non-binding consultation to the punctual handover and launch at www.trendversand-24.de. By providing a stage area, the store operator was able to look over eWorks' virtual shoulder while the online store was being created in real time and get started with article maintenance right at the start of the project. This meant that the subsequent commissioning was just a push of a button: because the article and other data had already been entered ready-made, the web store could see the light of day as soon as the OXID programming was completed and the store operator could concentrate on his core business.

Following the handover, the eWorks OXID developers support the store operator with questions about operation, software errors (warranty), changes to the law, security updates and potential change or expansion requests (e.g. new functions, interfaces or other OXID modules) as part of an optional support agreement for online store support from www.trendversand-24.de.
