On behalf of Verkaufsstore-Wilhelmshaven, eWorks developed the online store www.verkaufsstore-wilhelmshaven.de based on the latest OXID eShop 6 generation. The objective was to shut down the existing eBay and Amazon store at short notice and replace it with an independent, individually created web store.

Although a maximum recognition effect had to be generated for the existing customers, some of whom had been with the company for years, and the corporate design had to be retained, some new web designs had to be created for the numerous store functions - all mobile device-compatible ("mobile first") and SEO-optimized, of course.

However, neither the OXID or PHP programming nor the web design were the "casus crunchus", but rather the tight schedule - the developed store was to see the light of day after just 14 days. Sporty, but achievable, because the powerful OXID range of functions already contained all the desired store modules, allowing us to concentrate on the essentials: creating a modern, secure and, above all, independent online store with a high recognition effect for existing customers. To make this possible, work was divided into two phases: while the unfinished online store was still being developed, the store operator was able to familiarize himself with the OXID store, revise product data and add CMS content thanks to the eWorks demonstration system. Once the development was complete, everything was ready to go and all that remained to be done was for the curtain to fall - the newly created web store could go live almost immediately.

In the meantime, the store operator has shifted his ongoing customer business to the newly created web store and is enjoying his modern, but above all independent online store. (In the event of technical faults or any additional programming, eWorks, as an OXID partner, will of course continue to provide its client with reliable support at all times).
