Development of a .NET solution for creating Word documents with C#

AuTecMA GmbH (Rösrath) supports its customers in the field of automation technology for machinery and plant engineering from hardware planning, control engineering and software development to the final acceptance of individual complete solutions and has commissioned eWorks with the C# programming of a Microsoft Word document generator for batch protocols.

The developed Word document generator automatically creates a PDF batch report of all batch data at the end of each batch, which in turn is retrieved from a Microsoft SQL Server database. In addition, historical batch reports can be created at any time at the touch of a button (provided they are still available in the MSSQL database). During document creation, a Windows Forms dialog provides information on the status of document creation. The generated PDF documents are based on a standard Word template, which can be adapted by the client at any time if required (e.g. in the event of a layout change, change of name, change of address, etc.).

eWorks supported its client from the planning stage through implementation to installation and commissioning. After commissioning, eWorks is available to its client for any troubleshooting (warranty), questions regarding operation and possible change requests.
