Ink toner finder for online store

Development of an OXID eShop module for printer accessories

eWorks has developed an OXID eShop module for the software "Tinten-Toner-Finder" on behalf of the IT service provider TopData GmbH from Berlin.

The module was created as part of an integration for the okaytinte online store. It was developed in accordance with the modular approach recommended by OXID eSales AG so that it can be integrated into any OXID eShop.

The module was created to be easy and intuitive to use for the store customer and integrated into the web store. The customer first selects the manufacturer of their printer, then the series and then the model. They then receive a list of all suitable ink cartridges or toners on a results page, making the purchase decision easier.

The data on the cartridges and toners comes from a TopData server and is retrieved by the module via a web interface. The result is compared with the products available in the store to generate the result set.

The OXID eShop module adapts visually to the existing design and thus acts as an integral part of the webshop.
