Development of an online store based on OXID eShop

On behalf of Mrs. Kirsten Schellhase, eWorks has set up an online store for wool, yarns and accessories. The Community Edition of OXID eShop was used. At the same time as the online store went live, a retail store was also opened under the name "Elfis Wollwelt".

In consultation with the client, a design was created and realized by eWorks. The brief was to create a simple, clear look, but with a high recognition factor.

The following details were also implemented:

A gallery with various image galleries was integrated into the store as a separate component, which is intended to create incentives to buy as well as serve to entertain and inform customers.

Furthermore, an OXID module was created that enables the store operator to create customer surveys, integrate them into the store and view their results.

In addition to the payment methods integrated as standard in OXID eShop, PayPal and OXID eFire were also integrated.

The integration of a free WYSIWYG editor into the OXID eShop backend was also realized as part of the project.

The new store went online on schedule at the end of January 2010.
