Digital relaunch for the State Chamber of Pharmacists of Hesse with TYPO3 LTS 12.4

Complete relaunch with modern design, interactive forms, member area, job market and editorial training

In 2024, eWorks was commissioned by the State Chamber of Pharmacists of Hesse (Frankfurt am Main) to completely relaunch its website at www.apothekerkammer.de. As a public corporation, the chamber is a central point of contact for over 6,000 pharmacists in Hesse - the requirements for functionality, reliability and user-friendliness were correspondingly high. As an experienced TYPO3 developer, eWorks was responsible for both the graphic design and the technical implementation with the TYPO3 LTS 12.4 content management system.

The aim was to create a modern, clear and mobile-optimized website for members and external visitors. In close coordination with the State Chamber of Pharmacists, eWorks developed a new, clear design with structured navigation and well thought-out content architecture. The focus was on clarity, accessibility and intuitive user guidance.

The technical implementation and TYPO3 programming was based on TYPO3 LTS 12.4 - with individually developed content elements, responsive design, optimized loading speed and an editor-friendly maintenance interface. The chamber's editors were specifically prepared for the new functions and editorial processes as part of a training course.

A central component of the relaunch was the revision and integration of the protected member portal with subject-specific content, documents and functions. Numerous interactive forms for the digital handling of processes were also implemented. The offering is supplemented by a newly developed job market in which pharmacies can publish current vacancies - a service for pharmacists throughout Hesse.

Even after going live, eWorks will continue to support the State Chamber of Pharmacists of Hesse in an advisory and technical capacity - with its experience as a TYPO3 agency from Frankfurt and a team of specialized web programmers.
