Employee training in content management system

Employees of the city of Büdingen were trained in the operation and administration of the newly designed city information system Buedingen.NET. The system, developed on the basis of PortalEngine software, allows simple editing and creation of new data records, as well as easy handling of access rights as required in a system with multiple users.

The aim of the first training course was to informally instruct employees from the IT environment in the use of the system so that they could enter content themselves and also offer support to less experienced colleagues.

In the following frontal training course - conducted by our partner Ralf Künne - the municipal employees, who are entrusted with tasks such as processing news and appointments or updating existing information offerings, were introduced to the working and operating methods of the system.
