Create Outlook and iCal appointments on the fly...!

The "Appointer" web service makes it easy and uncomplicated to send MS Outlook or iCal appointments to friends and acquaintances.

Appointer helps to convert appointments into standardized vCalendar or iCalendar files - simply and web-based. These files can be processed by almost any calendar and organizer program - from PC to MAC to PDAs and even cell phones.

The desired appointment data such as title, date and time are entered in Appointer and a vCalendar or iCalendar file is created. With just a few clicks, colleagues, customers, superiors or friends can then import the appointments into their own appointment calendars on PCs, cell phones, etc.. The Appointer's integrated e-mail sending function can also be used for this purpose. This allows you to quickly send an appointment on the go and import it into MS Outlook or other organizer software at work.

Appointer was developed in PHP and consistently with Unicode in order to support international languages and alphabets. An appointment created with Appointer can generally be downloaded as a file to the PC or Mac, created as a hyperlink or sent as an appointment by e-mail.

Appointer was free of charge and available in many languages until the service was discontinued in 2012. Of course, Appointer also respected the privacy of its users - the appointments created were neither passed on nor used for any other purpose.
