5. cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small text files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device when you visit our website.
Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity.
The use of cookies initially serves to make the use of our website more pleasant for you: For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual subpages of our website. These session cookies are automatically deleted after you leave our website. In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your end device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already visited our website when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.
The data processed by cookies is required for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. If you do not want us to recognize information about your computer, please set your Internet browser so that it deletes cookies from your computer hard drive, blocks all cookies or warns you before a cookie is stored. You can find out how to delete or block cookies in the help and support section of your Internet browser. There you will find instructions on how to search for the file or directory in which cookies are stored.
Please note in any case that the complete deactivation of cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

We are not legally responsible for these cookies. For information on the use of such cookies and the information stored on them by our advertising partners, please refer to their privacy policies.
Java applets and Java script are used to provide our website. If you do not wish to use these auxiliary programs or active content for security reasons, you should deactivate the corresponding setting in your browser.
6. online marketing/analysis measures
We use online marketing measures and tracking tools on our website to analyze the behavior of users on our website. With this statistical recording, we want to design our website to meet your needs and continuously adapt it for you, as our user, and optimize its use.
The online marketing and tracking measures we use are based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, Section 25 TDDDG. Our aforementioned interests are legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.
a) Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used on this website. With Google Tag Manager, it is possible to manage website tags via an interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager.
You can find more information about Google Tag Manager at: https://marketingplatform.google.com/intl/de/about/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/.
b) Google Analytics
This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC(www.google.de), for website analysis. In accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable your use of the website to be analyzed, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of Google Analytics by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.
Google LLC is headquartered in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. You can access the certificate on the following website: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on (available at the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across different devices, you must opt out on all systems used. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Deactivate Google Analytics.
c) Google Adwords / Conversion Tracking
We also use the online advertising program "Google AdWords - Conversion Tracking". Conversion tracking is an analysis service provided by Google. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is stored on your device. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. It is therefore not possible for cookies to be tracked via websites of AdWords customers.
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. This tells customers the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. Our legitimate interest in data processing pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR also lies in these purposes.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com" by setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads, https://policies.google.com/privacy.
d) Google Remarketing
This website uses Google Remarketing, an advertising service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Third-party providers, including Google, can use it to place interest-based advertisements on websites. The function is used to present interest-based advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called "cookie" is stored in the website visitor's browser, which makes it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to the Google advertising network. On these pages, the visitor can be presented with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google's remarketing function.
According to its own information, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. However, if you do not wish to use Google's remarketing function, you can deactivate it by making the appropriate settings at https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1.
7. google web fonts
We use script and font libraries, so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google LLC, for example, on our website for the uniform (cross-browser) display of fonts and graphics. Google web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google web fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.
This page uses the Google Rubik font (designed by Hubert and Fischer, Meir Sadan, Cyreal).
Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
8. services of Google Maps APIs
Our website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the map functions by visitors. You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy(https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can also change your personal data protection settings there in the data protection center. The use of Google Maps is also subject to Google's terms of use(https://policies.google.com/terms), which you can view on Google's website. We have linked them accordingly
Detailed instructions on managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found at the following link https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3024190.
9. links to our websites in social networks
On our website, we have included links to our websites in the social networks Facebook, Kununu and Xing. We would like to point out that these are only links that redirect to our website in the networks mentioned; they are not so-called plugins with which you could, for example, "share" or "like" information on our website in the networks. As far as we are aware, it is not technically possible for social networks to collect personal data on our website via the mere links. For the purpose and scope of data collection after forwarding, please refer to the data protection information of the respective network.
10. YouTube videos
We have embedded plugins for YouTube videos in some places on our website. YouTube is a service provided by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you open one of our pages on which a YouTube plugin is embedded, it establishes a direct connection to the YouTube servers via your browser. This transmits the information to YouTube that you have accessed our website. If you are logged into your YouTube account, your visit to our website and all your interactions in connection with the plugin (e.g. clicking the YouTube button) can be assigned to your YouTube profile and saved on YouTube - even if you do not have a YouTube profile, it cannot be ruled out that YouTube will save your IP address. In this respect, please also note the YouTube privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
To prevent YouTube from collecting data when you visit our website, log out of YouTube before visiting. To prevent YouTube from accessing your data via websites in general, you can exclude YouTube plug-ins using an add-on for your browser (e.g. www. youtube.com/user/disconnecters)
11. data security
We take all necessary technical and organizational security measures to store your personal data in such a way that it is not accessible to third parties or the public. Should you wish to contact us by e-mail, we would like to point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted cannot be fully guaranteed by this means of communication. We therefore recommend that you send us confidential information exclusively by post.
12. up-to-dateness and amendment of this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid and was last updated in May 2024.
Due to the further development of our website and offers on it or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this data protection declaration. You can access and print out the current privacy policy at any time on the website at https://www.eworks.de/datenschutz.
